PRESCOTT B. “SCOTT” DUVALL Prescott B. “Scott” Duvall, 90, of Windham Terrace in Windham, NH and formerly of Nashua, died Wednesday afternoon, February 13, 2013 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry after a period of declining health. A resident of Windham for the past five years, Mr. Duvall was born in Eagle Lake, Maine on September 28, 1922, a son of the late Ernest and Flora (Barbour) Duvall. During his early years, “Scott” lived in Massachusetts before moving to Lincoln, New Hampshire where he attended high school and later Tilton Prep School. Mr. Duvall served with the 8th Army Air Force during World War II. After the war, he returned to New Hampshire and studied Mechanical Drafting in Manchester where he met his first wife Phyllis (Clark) Duvall, who died September 17, 1967. Mr. Duvall began his career as a draftsman with Scott & Williams in Laconia, NH and at General Electric in Lynn, MA. He moved to Nashua in 1955 and was employed as a mechanical designer with the former Sanders Associates, Inc. and Flash Technology. While at Sanders Associates in Merrimack, Scott met and married Ann (Ryder) Gamble in 1976 and shared 31 years together until her death on February 12, 2008. Scott was a sixty year member of Parker Lodge #97 Free and Accepted Masons of North Woodstock. In addition to his parents and his wives, Mr. Duvall was predeceased by a brother Gardner Duvall. Members of his family include his four children, Scott E. Duvall of Reading, PA, Carol Bliss of Nashua, Wayne C. Duvall of Manchester and Paul B. Duvall of Hudson; also three grandsons and two granddaughters; a step grandson; and three step-daughters. SERVICES: His funeral service will be held in the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, TODAY (Saturday February 16th) at 1:30 p.m. Friends are invited to gather at the funeral home beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Sam was a Master woodworker and cabinet maker and worked at Boston’s Haymarket produce stands. He will be fondly remembered for sharing a smile and a song with family and friends, as well as the encouragement and support he offered to so many he called a “piece of bread” and all who were lucky enough to have known him. As Sam often said, “It never gets darker than midnight, and then the light comes.”

FREDERIC L. FULLER Frederic L. Fuller, 93, of Hampton, NH, a native and former Nashua resident, died Friday afternoon, February 15, 2013 at The Birches of Concord, where he has resided for the past three months. A son of the late Willis L. and Grace E. (Bills) Fuller, he was born in Nashua on July 13, 1919. He was educated in Nashua schools. Mr. Fuller was a retired Senior Master Sergeant of the New Hampshire Air National Guard where he served for 32 years. During World War II, he served with the 1st Infantry Division in Europe and was involved in the Battle of the Bulge and also served during the Korean War. Fred was the recipient of a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. In 1951, Fred began a career in avionics at Grenier Field AFB in Manchester until 1965, when he relocated to Pease AFB in Newington, where he worked until his retirement in 1979. On New Years Eve in 1939, Fred married Dorothy Hamer in Tyngsboro, MA. They made their home in Nashua for many years before moving to Hampton in June 1967. Fred and Dorothy enjoyed traveling, visiting Alaska and all of the 48 continental states. Mr. Fuller was an avid Ten Pin bowler. He was a parishioner of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Portsmouth and a former member of the Church of The Good Shepherd in Nashua. Fred was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Dorothy H. Fuller who died November 6, 2010; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine L. and Roger Charron, Mazel D. Stearns, Gloria J. and Fernand Bergeron, and Victor Berube; a sister-in-law, Lavina (Hamer) Prudhomme; and a brother-in-law, David O. Hamer Jr. Members of his family include three sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick L. SCOTT J. CAMPBELL Scott Joseph Campbell, 49, of Hudson, NH, died unexpectedly at his home, early Thursday morning, February 21, 2013. A resident of Hudson for the past 14 years, Scott was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on November 5, 1963, a son of the late Richard E. and Christine L. (Luce) Campbell. He grew up in Billerica, MA and later resided in Texas and Nashua before moving to Hudson. Mr. Campbell was a self employed building contractor and was well known at J.D. Chasers of Hudson. In his leisure time, Scott enjoyed camping, going to Foxwoods and remodeling his home. Members of his family include his wife, Melinda (Lewis) Campbell; three daughters, Candy Purvis, Jessica Mae Campbell and Brandy Mae Campbell Lopez; two step-daughters, Cynthia and Tina Delgado; nine grandchildren, Rachael, Elizabeth and Christopher Leite, Anthony Morales, Jayden and Lilyana Lopez, and Damien, Emma and Olivia Purvis; three brothers, Richard E. JEAN E. DUPRAT Jean E. Duprat, 83, of Nashua and formerly of Litchfield, NH, widow of Warren B. Duprat, died Saturday morning, February 23, 2013 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, after a period of declining health. A daughter of the late Raymond and Jennie (Rogers) Ellis, she was born in Eastham, Massachusetts on Christmas Eve December 24, 1929. Jean grew up in Yarmouth, MA and was a graduate of Yarmouth High School Class of 1947. Jean and her husband Warren were married on September 23, 1947 and made their home in North Adams, MA for many years and resided for several years in West Virginia before relocating to New Hampshire in 1980. The Duprat’s resided in Hollis and Hudson for a time before moving to Litchfield in 1990. Mrs. Duprat was employed with the former Sanders Associates, Inc. from 1981 to 1990 and had previously worked for Western Union, Sprague Electric Company and Triangle Racing Publications in West Virginia. Jean was a member of Grace Fellowship Church of Nashua. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years Warren B. Duprat who died July 25, 2004; and two sisters, Lois and Doris. Members of her family include her three children, Daniel L. Duprat and his wife Anja of Litchfield, David W. Duprat and his wife Diane of Nashua and Wendy A.
