Every now and then in our lives we have the good fortune to be touched by an angel. If you met Marilyn Prolman, God Himself touched you through her. In her eyes you saw God’s tenderness. In her conversations with you, you heard God’s caring. In her actions, you witnessed God’s compassion. Most of what God did through Marilyn, we will never know about, and that is just the way Marilyn wanted it. Marilyn taught us all to love our God and to serve others. Regardless of who you were, or how many times Marilyn met you, you left feeling as though you were the most important person to her. The greatest tribute we can give to Marilyn is to carry on her passion for others by spreading love. To Earl, Marilyn was the love of his life for 56 years since they married May 2, 1959, and the energy and drive behind every good thing they did as a team. To Polly, Mark and Gary, she was the mom who dedicated her life to their lives, and each of them carry on her legacy. Elisabeth, Abigail, Gerty, Molly and Harrison were each convinced that they were their “Nanny’s” favorite grandchild. To George Sandberg of Long Island, Marilyn was his big sister who never stopped believing in him. To David and Margie Prolman of Naples, and Norman and Karen Prolman of Framingham, MA, Marilyn was not just a sister-in-law, but a best friend. To her friends in Nashua and Naples, Marilyn was a bright light that will never flicker or fade in their memories. Marilyn went to straighten things out in Heaven on July 31, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
